Colusa Mosquito Abatement District will begin scheduled mosquito control measures Moday June 22, 2026

The Colusa Mosquito Abatement District will begin their scheduled mosquito control measures in and around the town of Colusa on Monday June 22, 2026 and continue until the first week in November.

Crews will be conducting mosquito control efforts, using truck mounted ULV Coldfogging machines. California Department of Public Health Trained and Certified supervisors and employees will be applying EPA registered materials to keep mosquito populations as low as possible.

The Colusa Mosquito Abatement District strives to take every effort possible, to minimize the threat of mosquito borne illness and mosquito nuisance.

Town and Outlying Houses:

Sprayed on Mondays and Thursdays
9:00pm to 1:00am

Outlying Agricultural and Wetland Areas:

Sprayed Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays
8:00pm to 11:00pm
